Hi, My name is Darren Johnston , I am reaching out and hopefully can get some help, as a father of 5 , money is tight so what do you do ? Get a job , as I proceeded to work, my health got the best of me , the weekend of Father’s Day I was having the worst pains ever, and Sunday ( Father’s Day) I couldn’t handle it so I went to Norfolk General Hospital, as I got rushed to Brantford general to under go major life threating surgery, as this is my first surgeon I’ve ever had I was terrified , the surgery said I had Perforated viscus , which is Diverticulitis of the bowel, I was in a induced comma for a week , and in the hospital for 2 1/2 weeks, and scary thing was that they said there lucky I came when I did or I would of passed away from the poison inside me which is a scary thought but now I am home with 42 staples and cane/ walker as it’s hard to move around , as most people would know me as a busy guy I’m always on my feet and always working , since this has happened I can’t work for another 6 months and I can’t claim EI since I just started my job, And I have wait 6-8 weeks to be approved hopefully , as I recover I am not aloud to lift anything heavy or move around to much , so I’ll be unemployed till the surgeon gives me the go ahead , I am just reaching out to see if anyone could give me and my family some help ! I don’t ask for anything but I’m this unexpected hard time I am in need of help ! If you could please help and support me it would help a ton.
