Darrion Sellman - Royal Ballet

Darrion has worked very hard this past year in dance and had an amazing time recently at the Youth America Grand Prix Finals (YAGP) held in New York.  Darrion was the recipient of the YAGP Shelley King Award for Excellence.  He placed in the Top 6 for both his classical and contemporary Pas de Deux's., and he joined his fellow Los Angeles Ballet Academy Dance dancers  in  an ensemble that placed in the Top 12.  Earlier this year, Darrion was named one of the "Top Ten Teens to Watch," by Ventura Blvd. Magazine.  We are very proud of his accomplishments this year.

Darrion has the opportunity to once again go to the Royal Ballet School in London this summer on a full-tuition scholarship.  We are so excited for him to take advantage of this amazing opportunity; however, we need help from our friends, family, and colleagues to do this.  I am reaching out to everyone because recently, my father had a serious health issue and passed away this past March 2018.  I had to fly out to Virginia on three separate occasions during this physically and emotionally stressful time.  As a result, it has, unfortunately, caused our financial resources to be strained to the maximum.
