Hi everyone,
Darryl is a homeless Ex veteran. He is an amazing Friend, Father, and Grandfather. Unfortunately he got conned out of his savings and is struggling to find a home. Darryl is disabled with one leg and a prosthetic. He was recently forced to leave a room he was renting for six years because the landlord had to accommodate a room for his family member. Darryl found a new room in south Sacramento on craigslist. The new Land Lord rented rooms out to Darryl and two other victims knowing he was getting evicted. After the tenants payed rent 3 days later David left early in the morning. The cops raided the house and evicted everyone. The cops gave all the tenants 10 minutes to evacuate so he had to leave all his stuff behind as they boarded up the house. Darryl spent his savings in paying the deposit plus the first months rent. Including the cost of moving in. His disability income is very low. The government section 8 hasn't been help since the waitlist is crazy. I am needing help finding him a place to stay. Anything helps. All proceeds will be insuring that he finds a place to stay.
