Dear friends and family,
We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share the news of the sudden and tragic passing of Darryl Loafer Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and artist. Darryl's life was tragically cut short and he died on August 31, 2023.
Darryl lived on the Standing Rock Reservation. He was an incredible man, whose love for nature and art was only surpassed by his love for his family. His passion for his cultural heritage reflected in his exquisite Native American artwork, and his love for the great outdoors was shared with his children during countless adventures. Darryl's vibrant spirit, his unending kindness, and his profound love for his family will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
In the aftermath of Darryl's tragic and untimely passing, his family is now faced with unexpected expenses related to medical and funeral costs. The ongoing investigation into Darryl’s death prevents us from sharing more details at this time, but we believe that any support, no matter how small, will greatly help the family during this distressing time.
We have set up a GoFundMe campaign to help support Darryl's family during this trying time. All contributions will go directly towards covering these sudden financial burdens and providing some measure of relief for Darryl's loved ones.
We understand that not everyone may be in a position to donate, and that's okay. Sharing this campaign with others and keeping Darryl's family in your thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read about Darryl's life and for considering a donation. Darryl's memory will forever be cherished by his family. His loss will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
