Our friend Darryl Hammond, a former pro football player who transitioned to work on the TV show Dance Moms, is in need of support after being diagnosed with ALS almost two years ago.
Darryl, a kind and thoughtful person, was recovering from surgery to remove a brain tumor when he was diagnosed. His wife Robin has been by his side every step of the way, but the growing financial burden has become overwhelming on top of her full time job and caring for their kids Darryn, Sydney and Todd.
His friends, family and coworkers have started this Go Fund Me to ease some of the burden. We hope to surpass our goal so as to help his immediate family cope. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated.
