Darryl Kemp Memorial Fund

On May 27, 2017, we lost an amazing man, husband, father, son, brother, coach, and friend.  Darryl Kemp's untimely passing leaves his family, friends and an entire community in disbelief.  Coach Kemp never met a stranger.  He was always there for anyone who needed him.  Coach Kemp assisted with the Lakeside High School's Basketball, Football, and Baseball teams. He loved mentoring the student-athletes and helping to prepare them for the next level. However, what he loved the most was being with his wife Selena and his two sons Malik and Najee.  As we grieve, we must also remember that in addition to this tragic loss, there is now a family facing the undue financial strain that occurs when a loved one passes away.

This campaign, organized by close friends and family, aims to offset the upcoming costs that Selena will have to pay as she continues to support her sons as they continue their college education and any other costs resulting from Coach Kemp's passing in the immediate and distant future. We ask that you post a memory, prayer or thought as we look to support Selena and her sons during this difficult time.   All of your support, thoughts, and donations will be forwarded to the family.
