Dar's Legacy of Giving Needs Your Help

Donation protected
Darwyn E. “Dar” Bryant, 64, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at his home.

Born Sept. 1, 1960, in Alton, Dar was the director of the Dream Center of Alton. He was an active member of The River Church, where he was a producer in the media department. He authored a book, “360 Degrees: Full Circle.” He enjoyed buying and selling antiques and collectibles. Dar was a generous man who dedicated his life to helping others. He was driven by his ministry to put his neighbor before himself. He fiercely loved and protected his wife and family.

Dar had a mission; he wanted to provide hope to those often forgotten and to those who needed help as he did during his hardest times. He found the ability to help others in the community and surrounding areas through his role at the Dream Center.

While he was focused so much on others—his family, his friends, and his community—he didn’t prepare for himself. Dar’s unexpected passing left his family in a bind — he didn’t have a life insurance policy to cover funeral expenses.

Any contribution is appreciated, though not expected. If you’re unable to contribute, please share. Anything helps!
