Dartington and Totnes Cricket Club

The past year has produced challenges for everyone, facing circumstances none of us have had to address in our lifetimes. 

The cricket club is at the heart of our community, with two mens teams and a newly flourishing junior section, it provides a place not only to enjoy recreation, but a social platform for many too. The club is an important outlet for the mental and physical wellbeing of many in the community and we really hope to continue to provide services that can help in both respects. 

Our 2020 season was severely impacted by covid, almost completely wiping the fixture list. Income that would usually have been provided by games, bar sales and social events has been lost, leaving the club in a fragile state financially. 

Whilst all of the work around the club is done by dedicated volunteers, the upkeep of the ground, clubhouse, nets, rent and equipment is still incredibly costly. 

We understand it has been a tough financial year for everyone but anything you can spare would be gratefully received. 

We hope everyone is staying well and safe and hopefully look forward to seeing many of you down in the near future!
