Dartmouth Rowing for Justice

The athletes of Dartmouth Rowing find themselves shocked and saddened with the tragic deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery. We condemn these inexcusable actions and are looking to help make a tangible change for the better. As members of the Friends of Dartmouth Rowing Club family, we value camaraderie and teamwork. Although statements are nice for showing momentary solidarity, our goal is to take real action and spur actual change.

In addition to raising money for the NAACP, hopefully communities can also take time to reflect on the systemic oppression that occurs in this country on a daily basis and has been present since the earliest days of our country. Change takes time, but every little second or dollar or word that people commit to making these changes helps. We hope that you will choose to be a part of this change for good and show that Black Lives Matter.
