Kohkom Teachings Story Project
Donation protected
The Kohkom Kisewatisiwin Society is a group of Indigenous Grandmothers established in Edmonton, Alberta since 2014. We share our teachings and knowledge with the community through educational tools, cultural camps, schools and circles. Through this work, we continue to be stewards of Mother Earth, keepers of family and culture and mentors for the young. This Kohkom Teachings Story Project responds to the urgent need of teaching resource for schools, organizations, families, and communities. It involves gathering stories and knowledge in a written format. To make this project a success, we are inviting all Nations to take part by contributing to this community-based initiative. The work is in progress but further funds are needed to cover publishing costs. Our timeline for this gift to be shared is July. Thank you. Hiy Hiy!
