Daughter burned in Lahaina, Son in law missing

Aloha. My name is Justine and I am organizing this for my childhood friend, Lauren. Her story is below but my heart is heavy for her as I am trying my best to return what she did for me and my Ohana in 2021. My daughter needed a lifesaving surgery and I was too humble to ask for help. My husband had recently gotten an emergency amputation and money was scarce back then. She basically saved my baby girl’s life by creating the Gofundme because we raised what we needed to get her the surgery. Please help me do the same. Her priority right now is Rachelle and I want to take this worry away from her. Mahalo

Aloha. My name is Lauren Parks and with heaviness in my heart, I am asking for your Kokua. Tragedy struck our beautiful Lahaina and even with the amount of guilt I have and devastation caused, I can still thank God that I have still my baby girl, Rachelle. She was flown to Oahu and is being treated for severe burns. Unfortunately, my 18 week old granddaughter that Rachelle was carrying did not survive in her womb. Her husband, my son in law Marcus, is still missing. The last she heard from him was him trying to race home to get her. Cell service was lost and no one has heard from him since.

Imagine being away on a work trip and in the mainland when this all unfolded. I have so much guilt as I should have been there to save them all. We lost everything.
