Daughter lost all belongings and pet in house fire

- My name is Craig and I'm a single disabled father of a wonderful 16 year old daughter. On 12/26/2023 our home caught on fire in our daughter's room, and my daughter lost everything she owned. She has 2nd degree burns to her right arm, as this is what awoke her. She ran downstairs to wake me telling me her room is on fire. When I got to her room upstairs the flames were everywhere. Her bed, desk, make up desk, clothes, photos of her mom, her moms rings and belongings, posters, her cds & vinyl records she collected, all of her christmas presents she just unwrapped hours before the fire took them all and her childhood stuffed animals were all covered in flames. I tried to put it out, and do all I could, but the fire was above me under me to the sides and so much smoke, but we made it out with our 2 cats, our turtle, and we lost to the fire our 6 year old bearded dragon. This year has been extremely hard for my daughter. Her mom passed away in September due to diabetes complications, and her mom birthday is 12/27/1977. Our daughter had to celebrate her sweet 16 in October, Thanksgiving and Christmas without her mom for the first time. Christmas morning this year was "the best Christmas yet" she kept saying, keeping her holiday cheers up. Our daughter just wanted an acoustic guitar for Christmas to learn and to be able to play her mom songs to help her heal from losing her mom this year, I saw it on fire on her bedroom floor.
- Our daughter is diagnosed with many mental health issues and we are in therapy for her. I've lost my bed, clothes, photos...just so much gone, and belongings of memories we can't begin to replace. The most loving kid has lost everything, but still manages to find hope in this world. Thank you for any help, time and for understanding of how much we appreciate all of you. We have been putting your donations towards our temporary 2 month lease, and to get us into our new 1 year lease starting march 1st. We have been trying to replace her lost belongings, clothes, art supplies, make up, her vinyl collection, basic essentials and things that she finds, and that so many have donated to Mic. She just is so very thankful, as well as l. I'll be applying funds towards a new bed when we move in March 1st, furniture, household essentials for cooking, bathroom, bedrooms, and most of all... lving at home once again will be so nice for both of us to heal from the past, and begin our new journey as the dad and daughter duo once again. Thank you again for all of your well wishes, donations and love. We couldn't be here where we are without all of you and your kind help and hope. Thank you.
Love,
Mic and Dad
