Dave & Rose Secord (it time to repay them)

My name is Lynnette Fluaitt and I'm the Daughter of Dave and Rose Secord. Dave and Rose are well known through out the Pacific Northwest  for their joyful musical performances . Known as the "luck of the Draw" and more recently as the "Strolling Secord's" these happy and giving people helped untold dozens of organizations to gather funds for "their" goals. These organizations included The Olympic Theatre Arts benefit, The Olympic Game Farm, The Harvest Benefit Dinner,  The Blue Grass Festival Benefit for First Step Family Support Center and a benefit concert to Help the American Red Cross Hurricane Katrina Disaster fund. This is a tiny ,tiny list of groups Dave and Rose have helped along in their 35 years in the music industry. They even opened the Port Angeles Speedway "An Evening with Roy Clark" back in the late 1990's and they have been seen at the  Clallam County  Fair, strolling  the grounds and filling the air with their vibrant Blue Grass sounds.  A large "Hoedown" was a regular event on their Port Angeles property  hosted freely by them , with no expectation of remuneration 

After all these decades of giving,  the time has come to help Dave and Rose in their golden years. For many years they have lived modestly in Port Angeles and they have never expected nor asked  for help. This "go fund me "account will enable the completion of a very small ,clean, safe and secure  home of less then 500 sq ft . This home will finally give Dave and Rose running water, septic and the convenience of electrical power, and heat . Dave is now in his late 70s and Rose has crested the magic 80s. and over the past few years health issues have grown larger.
They deserve to be re-payed for a lifetime of giving to the community.  Time is of the essence , winter weather is approaching and a band of volunteers has agreed to construct this home.  This will enable us to give Dave and Rose  a few years of happiness....they absolutely deserve it.
