Dave and Michaels 140.6 triathlon grassroots fundraiser

Hi we are Michael and Dave and every year we aim to take on a challenge to raise funds towards local grassroots sports clubs close to our hearts while pushing ourselves and also seeing what we are capable of.

This years challenge, I'm sure you will all agree, is not one we can take lightly.

We will be taking on the monumental task of completing a 140.6 triathlon known as the Geordieman.

This event takes place on September 1st 2024 and comprises of a 2.4 mile open water swim followed by a 112 mile cycle and straight into a marathon to finish.

All money raised from this will once again be split and evenly distributed between Killingworth Young Peoples Club and Kenton Amateur Boxing Club.

We will be updating our training on social media here and there as it progresses in the hope you will see this is something we're taking very seriously. All donations will be greatly received by us and of course the two clubs involved.
