Dave Bookman Heritage Toronto Plaque

Elliott Lefko, one of Bookie's friends, is working on a plaque with Heritage Toronto  for our friend Dave Bookman “Bookie“.  This plaque will be placed somewhere in this great city, possibly at Queen and Spadina, outside of the legendary Horseshoe Tavern.  

We are fundraising for this amazing piece of history that will create something concrete to remember our dear friend. With this we ask you for your generosity. Bookie has already given so much to all of us, if we could each donate a little bit then this plaque will become a reality.   

I fully acknowledge it's weird asking for money during a pandemic but think of it as an investment. You’re investing in Toronto’s music history.  I can’t wait for us all to have a celebration to remember the man who helped shape our Canadian indie scene.
