Dave Burton Recovery Fund

Donation protected
Friday October 7, 2022

As you have probably heard, our great friend Dave Burton suffered a massive stroke while working in Louisville, KY on September 17th. The good news is that he is stable and making good progress. But it’s going to take time for him to get back on his feet, and he’s going to need our support. He's still in the hospital recovering in KY and will eventually end up at home in NY, undergoing rehab/therapy.

We are a growing group of Dave’s friends that are asking you to join us in helping him. We think you’ll agree that Dave is gifted in making connections and friendships. He’s put many of us together over the years and always makes extra efforts to stay in touch with a postcard or a message or a random box of books. We think you’ll agree that the man has a heart the size of Brooklyn. We are asking you to donate what you can. The bills are going to pile up, and he may also need some day-to-day help. Let’s help our man Dave and his family have a stress-free recovery.

Dave has such a huge friend network, but he’s not currently on social media and some people may not have heard what happened to him. So PLEASE, we also ask you to share this fundraiser on your social pages! Please spread the word to all who may know and love our irascible rascal, the one and only Dave Burton.
