Dave Chavez’s Medical Expenses

Hi everyone!
I would like to introduce myself, I’m Jess Adams and I am Toni’s little sister and Dave’s sister in law. On the morning of august 13th Dave suffered a massive stroke. Thank god Toni was home to call 911. The ambulance was there in minutes and took him to St Joseph hospital in Joliet. St Joseph’s is also a stroke center. They took Dave in for a CT scan and found a very large blood clot on the left side of his brain. They immediately took him to surgery and removed the clot and put a stent in. He was in ICU for 5 days and will be moving into rehab in the next couple of days.
Dave has lost the use of his right side and his speech. The doctors are hopeful he will be able to regain some of his mobility and speech back. He will need to bust his butt by doing intense therapy for 6 plus months. With that being said Dave and Toni need help Financially with medical cost. Dave will be out of work for awhile and with only having one income right now Toni will need some help.
All of this doesn’t seem real. But we are rooting for you Dave. You are one of the strongest people I know you will get through this.
