Dave & Christine Miller Hurricane
My dear friends David and Christine Miller evacuated their home in Florida ahead of Hurricane Irma on Sept. 6, 2017. The hurricane passed by their city during the night of Sept. 10. Their home received the most damage in their neighborhood, including losing their roof and getting water damage throughout the home.
Christine stayed with family in Colorado while David returned to Florida as soon as possible to begin clean up. With the generous help of friends, family, and neighbors, David was able to clean up debris, pack up their furniture and belongings to a storage unit, rebuild the exterior wall, and replace the roof. David is doing the work himself to save as much money as possible.
But they have come to the end of their savings and are stalled on the recovery. Before Christine can return home, David still needs to pull up the water-damaged floor throughout the house and replace it, rebuild one other damaged exterior wall, as well as a list of other storm-related repairs throughout the house.
ESTIMATED COST OF REMAINING MATERIALS AND EXPENSES: 7000.00
You may know Christine Miller as the author of many Christian homeschooling books and history curriculum, such as *All Through the Ages* and Guerber's histories. http://nothingnewpress.com She also blogs daily at http://alittleperspective.com.
The Millers have a goal of completing the remaining renovations before November 15. Thank you for *any* help you can give!
(And if you cannot help financially, please share with friends... That would be an amazing way to help!)
Blessings,
