Dave Diaz - Education Trust for Tucker and Milo

While we are all reeling from the sudden and unexpexted death of my brother, Dave, I wanted to thank everyone that has taken the time to share memories, photos, stories and love about and for David. The celebration of life was unreal and a beautiful showing of all the love David has given his community as was reflected by the overflowing venue, local donations and memorial run down Purgatory.

On February 17th, my brother, David Diaz, passed away from a snowboarding accident. David made friends with everyone and anyone; he channeled joy and humor from each person he connected with. Dave will be forever missed, especially by his two mini-mes: Tucker & Milo. It will take some time for everyone to adjust to their new lives, and I want to make this transition as easy as possible by raising funds to support David's boys. For now, the funds will be put into a trust that will support education, school sports & related activites, and medical emergencies. We are currently working to create the guidelines of the trust for the boys, and it is our goal to make sure this money is invested wisely, and benefits both Tucker and Milo for many, many years to come.

David's entire family is humbled by the love, support and kindness from his hometown people of Durango.
