Dave Eardley (George Bailey) End of Life Fund
Donation protected
Hey All, Brian Eardley here, the youngest child of Dave and Charlotte Eardley.
Dad (Dave Eardley) was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer in early February. Unfortunately, this type of Cancer goes undetected until it's pretty well established.
I have been living with Dad (Dave Eardley) since 2010. In that time, we have learned and discovered so much about each other, and we have distilled our relationship down to the most important facets of life: Laughter, Camaraderie, Open Minds, Tender Hearts, Compassion, Understanding, and Forgiveness.
I am so fortunate to have been able to spend these last 13 years with Dad, it has been a great honor to care for him in all of the Big and Little Ways. Dad has cared for me as well, we are each others' Anchors in a Bouncy Sea. Dad has always been concerned for my well-being and is always there to console me in Times of Need.
Dad was still working for the past 13 years, and I was his Legal Assistant for the last 9 years. Also, I have been working for myself doing Home Restoration. Together, Dad and I were able to keep up our Household and thrive in our Community. However, due to some of Dad's past Debts and Loans, we were never able to establish any type of Savings or Investment Accounts. Financially, it has been 'Feast or Famine' for us, we have pretty much lived 'Month to Month' for most of these past 13 years.
We are hoping to raise at least $14,000 immediately for anticipated Funeral Costs. I set the overall goal of the Fundraiser at $35,000, so I can pay some 'End of Life' expenses and Dad's impending Estate Debts. Additionally, these donations will allow me to pay the Mortgage and the Bills on the House for 6 months, which will give me time to get a Full-Time Job, so I can start generating enough income on my own to keep the House afloat until Dad's Estate is settled.
We cannot possibly thank you enough for your generous consideration!
May we all Walk with Peace in our Breath, Holding those Closest to Us, Tight like Knots, Until the Day we have to Untie the Knots and let our 'Loves' float Up and Away, like Birthday Balloons, on an Ascent to the next Destination in their Ever-Unfolding Story...
