Dave & Hannah McLean Shed Contents Appeal
Donation protected
On 13 January 2019 David & Hannah McLean, a young family with 3 children located near Jericho in central west Queensland, lost everything they own to undertake cattle property management and their cattle primary production business and contracting businesses. A shed fire destroyed all tools and equipment the McLean family possessed including cattle husbandry equipment, several motorbikes, speying equipment, concreting equipment, all saddles including three children's saddles and all shed tools from basic tools through to equipment including a welder generator, MIG welder, pumps, air compressor and general shed electrical, battery operated and air tools.

The shed housed extensive tools to undertake station management employment and additional contracting work including speying and concreting and everything has been destroyed. The family lost their entire saddle shed where saddles and all horse gear used for work and saddles owned by the three young McLean children aged 4 to 13 were housed.
This is a devastating loss to the entire McLean family and the family are facing this significant loss in the midst of an ongoing drought with high feed and cattle husbandry costs.
This appeal has been set up to help this young hardworking and humble family who have lost everything they have worked hard for and accumulated to operate successful rural management and contracting businesses in an attempt to replace some of their tools and equipment quickly for minimal financial disruption. Monetary donations will be used to assist the family with replacing equipment destroyed in the fire for continued operation of their businesses.
Donation of good quality tools and equipment will also be gratefully considered and collected for the family if possible.
