David Paek Memorial Fund

We are devastated to share that beloved husband, father, son, friend, David "Dave" Paek, passed away this weekend on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021. Dave had a heart attack while working and doing the thing he loved most, photography. As many of you know, he had a heart condition for some time with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

 

Those blessed to have crossed paths with Dave know his booming laughter, his infectious positivity, and his care-free, loving attitude towards everyone he encountered. His wife, Helena, and two kids were his everything - love and life. Dave was also fiercely passionate about his coffee, food of all kinds- from homemade baguettes to smoked meats, all types of music, and most importantly, living life to the fullest. He touched so many people around the world with his talents, kindness, and genuineness.

 

The outpour of love and support have been beautiful and overwhelming with many calls and texts asking, "How can we help?" This is why we created this GoFundMe page (with the blessing and appreciation of the family) in memory of Dave. His two beautiful children, Phoebe (age 11) and Isaac (age 7), will choose a cause meaningful in memory of their father's legacy.
