Dave Reese's Medical Bills

Donation protected
Our friend Dave Reese was involved in an accident while snowboarding the morning of Wednesday January 10th. He was descending the lower portion of Amphitheatre on his way to the Thunder lift, a run that he has been on hundreds of times. Dave dipped off the side of the trail and struck a large ice boulder that was kicked off the trail by a snow cat. The impact shot him into the air and he landed on his back onto another large ice boulder.

Dave sustained three fractures to his T6 vertebrae along with a fracture to his T2 vertebrae. He has undergone spinal surgery and spent 3 days at St Johns Hospital in Jackson WY, where he received 8 screws and 2 plates to fuse his spine from T4 to T8. Dave has received a neck brace in order to assist with the initial healing process and is currently back in his apartment. He hopes to start physical therapy in less than 2 weeks, but is currently laid up in significant pain.

Dave has a long road to recovery with substantial medical bills and will be unable to work for some time. All donations will go directly to Dave to help cover his medical bills, future medications, rehab and other incurred costs.
