Dave Rice Battling Brain Cancer

This gofundme is to help Dave Rice battle brain cancer. News broke abruptly about our best friend Dave not too long ago and we are looking to help ease the Rice family of any medical cost that will go with Dave’s treatment and his fight against cancer. If you don’t know Dave, here’s some background on him. Dave was a Milford high graduate in 2012 where he shined on the baseball diamond and golf course. After high school Dave’s passion for golf elevated his career. He was a maintenance worker at Hopedale Country Club starting in 2013, not shortly after starting there did he go on to receive a degree from the UMASS School of Turf where he quickly became the Assistant Superintendent in 2017. In 2022 Dave got his dream offer, to be Superintendent of Hopedale CC where he started his career in the Turf business. After a successful opening of the golf course and 2 months into season, Dave was hit with an abrupt news and the C word no one wanted to hear. To some people this might of been to good to be true, but to Dave, it is just another obstacle in his way of achieving what he has dedicated the past 10 years of his life doing and that is never stopping until he reaches his goal. I think this is the attitude you would like to see in everyone and we are lucky to have a friend like Dave. If you can donate to this cause it would be greatly appreciated since Dave has been apart of many of your lives.
