Dave Winner's Rehabilitation Fund

On 5 August Dave was involved in a life-threatening accident at Coalcliff Beach. When trying to enter the water Dave lost balance, fell into a rockpool and did not resurface. Thanks to the quick actions and CPR skills of local bystanders, Dave was resuscitated and airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.

Dave has just left ICU having undergone 8 days of induced comas and nerve-wracking moments of uncertainty about his return to full health. The road ahead is uncertain, but what is known is that Dave will need many months of rehabilitation. This fund is aimed at providing financial help to Dave and his family, to provide the professional care and assistance needed to aid his recovery.

As Chief Training Officer at Coalcliff SLSC Dave has trained countless people in CPR, and his mantra has always been ''one day you might save me"! Well, this day came, and Dave was saved. Now he needs your help!
