Firefall's Dave Muse - Medical Bills

As many of you have commented or noticed during recent Firefall shows, Dave has been missing from the line up in recent weeks. This is due to medical issues that have prevented him from joining his band mates on the road.

 

 

In early 2020, as Covid was shutting the country down, Dave was diagnosed with cancer. This was not Dave's first encounter with this awful disease but he had beaten it before and felt confident that he could do it again. With Firefall forced off the road due to show cancellations and shut downs resulting from Covid precautions, it seemed that he might be able to get through treatment and regain his strength before things got back to normal. He was hopeful that he wouldn't miss any gigs or income. Things seem to be going well with treatment and he was optimistic that he would be back on the road this summer. Unfortunately, some post-treatment complications have forced him to stay home and work towards getting better. This process is taking longer than expected and there is currently no specific date for his return. He and his wife Patty are working with his doctors to isolate the problem and find a way to get him back to 100%.

 

 

In the meantime, Dave needs some help. His primary source of income is performing live. Without the ability to travel and perform with Firefall, he has little other income to support his family and pay for his mounting medical expenses. His savings are quickly shrinking while the bills continue to arrive. In addition to existing expenses, there is no estimate on how much it will cost to get him healthy again. Dave is a proud man and would never ask for help himself. This is why his Firefall family decided that launching this fundraiser might be a great way to help.
