Support Dave's 30 year battle with brain cancer

Dear Friends and Supporters,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you on behalf of David Cordts, a 49-year-old Pennsylvania resident who has been facing numerous challenges over the past few decades. David has been a dedicated CDL driver for more than 22 years, all while bravely battling brain cancer for nearly 30 years.
David's journey with brain cancer began in 1993 when he was just 19 years old. Following an unfortunate assault, an MRI revealed the presence of a tumor. He underwent two surgeries in the 1990s to remove the initial and second rare tumors, and later received radiation treatment to address the reoccurrence of one of those tumors.
Recently, during a routine follow-up with his physician in January 2022, a fourth rare tumor was discovered on the Cerebellum part of David's brain.
As a result, he is scheduled to undergo surgery once again this coming January at the Pennsylvania Hospital of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. The side effects caused by the tumor have already forced David to be out of work for several weeks, particularly affecting his vision.
The purpose of this letter is to humbly request your financial support during this incredibly challenging time for David and his family. The unexpected travel expenses to and from the hospital, medical costs not covered by insurance, and the accumulation of regular bills have created an overwhelming burden. Any assistance you can provide to alleviate this financial strain would be immensely appreciated.
Considering the possibility of a grim outcome and potential complications associated with the surgery, there will also be an extensive rehabilitation process for David. Neither David nor his family were prepared for him to endure this ordeal for the third time. He is determined to maintain his sanity amidst these trials and avoid accruing significant medical debts during his remaining time on Earth.
Your generous contribution would provide invaluable support and bring a ray of hope to David and his family during this challenging period. Every dollar counts and will go directly towards covering the medical expenses, travel costs, and other pressing financial obligations. Any unused money would go to further education for CPR and the latest life saving devices and technology for middle school children on the behalf of David's late nephew Aaron Winans who drowned in Carbondale a few years ago.
We understand that you may receive numerous requests for assistance, but we sincerely hope that you can find it in your heart to extend a helping hand to David. Your kindness will not only provide immediate relief but also enable him to focus on his recovery and spend quality time with his loved ones.
Thank you for taking the time to consider our request. Should you require any additional information or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. Your compassion and support mean the world to David and his family.
With heartfelt gratitude,
