Celebrate Dave Wolfson's Life and Legacy

Dear family, friends, and those who knew Dave,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Dave Wolfson on Tuesday, 4/1/25, after just celebrating his 73rd birthday the week prior. He was a beloved man who brought so much love, light, and laughter into the lives of those around him. Having served with the Paramus Police Department for more than 52 years, he had become a familiar face to many around Bergen County.

Many will remember his friendly face as he directed traffic for church events or his entertaining stories that would always make you smile. For those that just briefly came across his path, he wasn't afraid to strike up a conversation. He was always such a generous man, willing to do anything he possibly could to help someone who needed it.

As we come to terms with Dave’s passing, we are faced with the difficult task of arranging his final farewell. We want to give him the heartfelt memorial service and celebration of life that he would have loved. This celebration would be in honor of his consistent upbeat persona, amazingly positive energy, and a tribute to his contributions to the community.

In lieu of gifts to the family, we are respectfully reaching out to everyone in honor of Dave to financially support this celebration of life. Any contribution, no matter how small, will greatly help alleviate the financial strain and allow us to focus on grieving and remembering Dave. Any and all funds raised will go towards funeral costs, memorial arrangements, and planning his celebration of life service.

Thank you for your compassion and generosity. Together, we can give Dave the celebration he deserves. We also appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and messages of support during this difficult time; your kindness means the world to us as we navigate through our grief.

In the near future, after arrangements have been finalized, Dave's celebration of life service details will be spread to the community for all those that would like to attend.
