Davey Bales Funeral expenses

Hello. My name is Kaz Alvis and I’m fundraising in honor of the life of my friend and bandmate Davey Bales, on behalf of his mother.

Davey was a true force of nature, who touched the lives of so many people around the world through his music, poetry, style, and dedication to his craft. He was a beloved son, cousin and nephew who always strived to be the best he could in everything he did and encouraged those around him to do the same. He overcame many struggles during his life and inspired countless others by example.

This fundraiser is to honor Davey’s life and to help appropriately preserve his memory. His passing was sudden and unexpected, so the money will be used to cover all funeral expenses. We plan to honor Davey with a glass-fronted cremation niche at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, where we can also display photos and some of his poetry and music. (Should we fall short of goal, we will make alternative memorial arrangements at a nearby L.A. location.)
