David & Laura Scalese, Parents of Charlotte
Donation protected
Charlotte Scalese is just 2.5 years old. In April of this year, she was doing what kids do, having fun and enjoying her gymnastics class when she felt pain in her abdomen. This was the beginning of a long 8 month journey that has had her parents, David and Laura, putting their lives on hold to save the life of their daughter. Charlotte has been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, and after successful chemotherapy to shrink her tumor, doctors were able to operate and successfully remove 90% of it. The rest of what is remaining continues to entail a combination of treatments both in and out of the hospital that is, of course, putting an incredibly unfair financial strain on the family. David is a real estate agent who is on 100% commission and needs to work to make money. Due to the time it takes to care for Charlotte, his income is down significantly this year, while the bills pile up. He & Laura owe the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) $3600 with more bills on the way. The Believe Project also wants to help David pay off his car as well, with about a $6000 balance remaining. PLEASE make a donation today to give David & Laura the best Christmas Gift ever...time with their dear daughter without the worry and stress of having more bills to pay! This is truly the meaning of Christmas. (For more information on the Believe Project, please visit www.TheBelieveProject.org).
