David and Sierra Pickens Hurricane Relief Fund

Hi, my name is Kendra, and I live in Sarasota, Florida.

I am raising funds for my brother, David Ryan, and my niece, Sierra.

My brother moved to Fort Myers Beach 10 years ago. This was where he and I vacationed and visited our grandparents from childhood. He embraced everything about the town. He had a wonderful place on the canal where he fished off his back deck every night. He had a thriving cleaning business he started when he got there, cleaning rental condos and homes on the beach. Hurricane Ian has taken EVERYTHING from him. His home, vehicle, and entire business (his clients were all homes on the beach, which are now gone). He will need to rebuild his life completely.

My niece moved to Fort Myers about 1.5 years ago. She rented a nice townhome a few blocks from the beach. Her house and car were underwater, and she will need to start over. The first year here, she had been working on the beach, had just bought new furniture for her home....all of this is gone.

Any help you can provide will be hugely appreciated and used toward rebuilding their lives, starting with the essentials needed for daily living.
