In Loving Memory of David Bower

It is with a heavy heart that we share with you that our beloved David Bower has passed on. David was a wonderful son, brother, partner and friend — he is already so missed.

Dave was loved by all whom knew him. He touched the lives of all those that were blessed enough to cross paths with him, undoubtedly changing us all for the better. He owned and operated Time Warp Comics and Games for over 35 years, and provided a community, safe haven and home for so many individuals throughout the years.

Time Warp was his passion, his hobby, his world. The customers meant everything to him, and he created deep and meaningful friendships with anyone who walked through it’s doors. Dave treated each customer, employee, and especially friends as valid, important, and worthy of his time and attention. Someone recently told me “Dave made it cool to be different”, and I think anyone who knew him would agree. Dave can best be described as caring, kind, funny, generous, compassionate, and most importantly a kid at heart.

While the world is never ready to lose someone like Dave, we have gained an Angel in heaven and his kind heart, comforting energy, unwavering patience and warm laugh will remain with us forever.

As we weather this difficult time, I am respectfully asking for donations to be able to help with the memorial service he deserves to honor his memory and remember the beautiful light he brought to our lives; as well as to cover medical expenses. Sudden loss is never easy, and I would like to provide help with this burden as the family grieves this shocking, sad and difficult loss.
