David Carpenter fighting stage 4 RCC-Terminal.
Guide us with the light of love...
Peace for David Carpenter- terminal
Our cancer journey began 4 years ago when my husband, bestfriend of 24 years David was diagnosed with stage 4 (RCC) kidney cancer. The Dr.'s were amazing at OHSU helping us get through 2 surgeries, a nephrectomy and a lobectomy in late 2017 and early 2018.
Shortly after that David started immunotherapy. After sometime it was clear that the cancer was not responding to the infusion treatments. Now we're doing chemotherapy pills. Which has affected his ability to work more than 2 days a week (Yes, David is one of those guys that will work till his time comes.)
We've managed to survive financially throughout most of it.
The cost of prescriptions as well as over the counter medications, medical supplies, dr. appointments, fuel, labs, and scans..... It has finally overwhelmed us financially. Even daily expenses are becoming difficult to meet.
If there is anyone who would be willing to donate towards David's healthcare needs and household expenses. We are humbled and thank you for any help you can provide for our needs.
Be Blessed and Smiles. David and Alicia Carpenter
