We are organizing this fundraiser to help us lay our dad to rest peacefully. Thursday, February 2nd 2023, my dad unexpectedly suffered from a massive brain bleed and was rushed into emergency surgery. The doctors were unsteady about how severe the bleed was. We have been informed within the last couple of days Dave, our dad, will not get through this. The surgery was very intense and doctors had to remove part of the left side of his skull. He is unfortunately still bleeding and as much as we are holding onto hope, we are trying to face reality and prepare ourselves. He will unfortunately not make it through the end of the week as our family has to make that very gut wrenching decision of taking him off life support and continuing with comfort care to ensure he is no longer in any pain or suffering. The amount of love and time can never prepare anyone for this type of situation. We thank everyone for praying and send positive thoughts, and support our way as this is an extremely difficult situation.
