David Hausterman Jr beneficiary fund

This fundraiser has been edited to raise funds for David's son during his time of mourning and for grief counseling. His son is the beneficiary and all funds after GoFundMe fees are to be withdrawn solely by him. 

Thank you to all who have given during this time of tragedy. My hope is that Corey can receive the care he needs with the guidance of health professionals, as well as make up for the months he missed after David Jr left this world sooner than we could imagine. David was loved by so many people and his presence made all our lives better. I am forever grateful for the memories we share and he will always carry a huge place in our hearts. 


We all lost a great father, son, uncle, cousin, and friend in David Hausterman Jr. on Tuesday, July 10th, 2021. David Jr's family & friends are devastated beyond belief and are now dealing with both the heavy emotional & financial burdens of funeral service costs, burial expenses, cremation and much more.  We want to be able to fulfill the wishes that David Jr. expressed to his family and 20 year-old son Corey before his passing, as well as support Corey as much as possible and allow him to take the time off from work to properly grieve. Corey's employer has allowed him as much time off as he needs, and all funds raised here through this GoFundMe page will go directly to David's son in order to help him get back on his feet following such a tragic loss. We've included an excerpt below of David's obituary to give just a small glimpse of the beautiful soul and spirit that he was. We will always live through our beloved David here on earth and we will always cherish the wonderful memories we had together over his 36 years. "Born July 21st, 1984 in Sarasota, FL, David was a contractor for Global Draperies Inc. for 21 years, in addition to working as an event and booking coordinator for MVK Music Group. He was passionate about his work and actively involved as both an avid supporter & promoter of his son’s music career with the band Cold Subject and their blossoming presence. David’s adventurous spirit & ability to unconditionally help strangers are each benchmarks of which many of us hope to seek and emulate.

David Jr. is survived by his son Corey Hausterman, his father & stepmother David and Lana Hausterman, mother Gina Felser, three sisters Alex Medina, Jessica Hausterman, Jennifer Lynn Hausterman and two brothers Matthew Hausterman (spouse Jennifer Leigh Hausterman) and Christopher Dell, nephews Clayton, Elijah, Liam, Samuel and Jack, nieces Daisy & Harper, grandmother Janice Felser, and many loving and caring aunts, uncles and cousins. David is preceded in death by grandparents Elmer and Helen Hausterman, Charles Felser and Arcesio and Gloria Jaramillo.


David's Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 31st, 2021, at the First Baptist Church of Orlando's Henry Chapel.
