David J Klotzle Memorial Fund

This fund is being established  to honor our beloved friend - Peekskill's park naturalist, David J Klotzle.  Dave shared his passion and respect for nature with generations of Peekskill students. Dave died in August  2016. We are raising money to honor our friend Dave with a memorial in Depew Park. We hope to raise enough for a park bench, a weeping willow tree and a plaque.  Any excess funds collected will be put towards a scholarship for a graduating senior from PHS (2018) who plans to major in Environmental Studies or Forestry.  
Donations are needed by May 10th.   
A memorial ceremony is planned for Saturday, June 3, 2017  at 11am in Depew Park - Lake Mitchell to unveil the bench, plaque, and tree.  
Many thanks for donating and please join us on June 3rd in Depew Park for the memorial.  Please bring lunch and a lawn chair as we  gather together to celebrate Dave's life. (Rain date Saturday June 10th)
