Burial Expenses for David Kent Underwood II
Donation protected
My sweet, gregarious Uncle Dave passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 6th. His surviving children Annalee (24), Sawyer (21), and Delilah (18) now carry the financial burdens associated with giving their dad a dignified burial. Sawyer and Delilah were living with their dad and suddenly face unexpected living costs and bills. Please consider donating to give my young cousins some relief to grieve, settle the estate, and lay their dad to rest.
David was a man of so many talents and was so easy to love. He had a booming laugh and an incredible memory. He attended broadcasting school at Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts in Southfield, MI. He had the morning show at a radio station in Wilmington, NC for years, and has done voiceover work for anime productions. David was an incredible DJ for decades and the ultimate trivia partner; he had an encyclopedic knowledge of music and pop culture.
The happiest times of his life were spent riding around Siesta Key, FL, and running along the beaches of Topsail Island, NC with his kids.
"Our dad was the smartest, funniest, most attention grabbing guy in every room. His passion for life was unmatched, he was an encyclopedia of knowledge, a master of many crafts and hobbies, and most importantly he was the best Dad anyone could ask for. Even when times were hard and things got rough, his heart was, and always will be, in the right place. We will miss him beyond what words can describe, but we will look for him in the sunny days and thunderstorms alike, we’ll look for him in the sea otters playing, and we’ll feel him with us every time we hear some good rock n roll. We will always know that the world is never going to be able to fill the shoes he’s left behind, and we will miss him forever. Until we meet again, Dad."
Dave adored his family and his children "Monkey", "Bear", and "Mouse" are his greatest pride. He has joined his mom, Nance, and niece, Samantha, in heaven.
