David Lee Bevers

On behalf of the Bevers Family, this Go Fund Me is for the family of David Lee Bevers.

David Lee Bevers 46, of Ocala, FL passed away on Thursday, December 7th, 2023, suddenly and much too young in his adopted hometown of Ocala, Florida.  

David was born on Long Island, NY to Robert and Mary Bevers on April 20th, 1977.  He graduated from Longwood High School where he had a tight knit group of friends.  One of these friends was Savona Adamo, his childhood crush who he had told when they were young, he would marry one day, and he did just that April 24th, 2006. 

David started working at a young age and was one of the hardest working, most loyal employees anyone could ask for.  Delfino Insulation in NY is where he grew his career ascending from Installer, to Salesman, to Branch Manager over his 20-year tenure, while also creating lifelong friendships.  After moving to Florida, he embarked on a new chapter with 31-W Insulation as a Branch Manager out of Orlando, and quickly rose to the ranks of Regional Operations Manager of Florida running 4 branches for 9 years until his passing, continuing his legacy as one of the hardest workers anyone ever knew.    

Dave loved fishing his entire life, starting as a young child with his family in the bays and shallows for fluke and flounder, through adulthood where he became an amazing angler, including fishing hundreds of miles offshore for tuna and swordfish.  His great passion for fishing, however, was dwarfed by his greatest love and passion – his family.  He loved spending time with them, from taking them fishing and boating, cruises, beach trips, school functions, and kids sporting events, to Sunday family breakfast that didn’t start till noon and lasted all day.  Any and every time he spent with his wife and daughters was the most cherished pastime he held dear. 

 

David was preceded in death by his father Robert and his baby sister Christina.  David is survived by his loving wife Savona, his pride and joy daughters Olivia and Amelia, his cherished mother Mary, his ever-teasing older brother Michael, Sister-In-Law Lisa and nephew Brayden, and every family member and friend who had the privilege of knowing him and will be heartbroken in losing him. David will live forever in all our hearts. 

 

A FUNERAL/MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Thursday December 14th from 4-8pm at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services TimberRidge, 9695 SW 110th Street, Ocala, Fl 34481.

 

The family suggests that donations in lieu of flowers go towards his daughters College Funds and may be sent via Cash App to TheBeversFamily.  For alternate forms of donations, please contact the family.
