Help towards the funeral of David Lockett

As many of you know, our beloved dad David touched the lives of so many. His passing has deeply affected us all, especially me, my sister Jade , his grandsons Oscar and Luka, his brothers Mark and Stephen, his sisters Tracey and Lisa, and his cousin Robbo—who was more like a brother and best friend to him, which is why we all called him Uncle Robbo.

David bravely battled Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the tongue. The cancer spread to the floor of his mouth, his lymph nodes, jaw and eventually, his lungs.

On July 6th, he was admitted to the hospital for a gastrostomy procedure, which unfortunately failed, leaving him dependent on an NG tube for over three weeks. He was scheduled for a PEG insertion on August 8th, but due to hospital emergencies, the procedure was delayed.

We are still awaiting the official cause of death, but in his final moments, David had an excess of carbon dioxide in his lungs, which caused him to become unresponsive.

We are setting up this GoFundMe to help with funeral expenses and to honor the memory of a man who meant so much to so many. Any support you can offer during this difficult time would be greatly appreciated.
