In memory of David Marques-Domingos
January 23rd, 2002 - December 30th, 2020
David Marques-Domingos, at the solemn age of 18, a beloved and immortalized son, grandson and insurmountable brother – a cherub who’s infectious smile reached all hearts and whose spirit gifted all those who crossed his path – earned his wings and was welcomed into the arms of the Holy Father. The kindest of souls, the sweetest of hearts, the warmest of smiles and a selfless devotion to his family and friends – he was everyone’s beloved child, brother, nephew and friend.
David loved all sports, but the nearest and dearest to his heart was hockey. David was happiest and free as a bird when on the ice surrounded by his cherished teammates and playing his favorite game. He was a devoted Willowdale Blackhawk, a respected team Captain and a volunteer for the Learn-to-Skate program where he was adored by the children he mentored and by the entire Willowdale Hockey community.
For this reason, my family and I could not think of a better way to honor the memory of my brother than to support the sport of hockey and the community he loved so much. Please join me and my family in contributing to the David Marques-Domingos Memorial Fund in support of Willowdale Sports Club. This fund is intended to help aspiring gifted athletes and their families in financial need who cannot afford the costs of minor hockey participation and to assist the organization in funding hockey programs with a focus on child and community development.
Thank you on behalf of the Marques-Domingos family.
