David McDermott Family Fund

David McDermott and his wife, Dani, have been members of the North Pocono Community for almost fifteen years. Dave has been involved in Boy Scouts with his son, Owen, and has also coached many children in soccer with the North Pocono Soccer League. Their daughter, Lawsen, is in fourth grade and is a North Pocono cheerleader. Dave is very active with his family’s activities and is the main source of their income. Recently Dave was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, a form of cancer. While initially trying to learn to cope with the news, Dave was notified by his job that they were not renewing his contract, thus leaving him with no form of income. Dave will be needing Chemotherapy and possibly Radiation therapy. This fund is being set up for the family’s medical expenses and daily living expenses such as food and mortgage payments.
