David Mears - Amputee

Hello, my name is Richard, I’m reaching out to the community to help Mr Dave Mears, my friend, mentor and instructor. Dave is a former world TaeKwon-do champion, Muay Thai Boxing Champion, Professional Martial Arts instructor and Coach. Having lived abroad for many years, he lost his job and livelihood due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He came back to rebuild his life in Stamford,the town he calls home.

Sadly, he has had his life turned upside down even more, following complications after receiving a vaccine. David has had two operations, the first lower left leg amputation went wrong ,which led to the whole leg being amputated and now faces a long period of healing followed by a huge change to his day to day living arrangements. He needs our help!
