David Mettler Memorial Expense Fund

On November 23, 2021 we lost our beloved Father, Grandpa, Husband, and Friend. David Mettler was a bright star in our lives who’s light was dimmed much too soon. While we knew him as Dad, Pa or Dave, many more knew him as “The Wine Guy” from your local Safeway. David was the smiling face that greeted you with open arms and an overwhelming willingness to help for the last 34 years. As a Father, Dad was our best friend, shoulder to cry on, and the one who helped shape our hopes and dreams. As a Husband, his love was unfailing and true. As a Grandfather, he made my daughter feel like the most special little girl in the world. To his friends, his loyalty was a comfortable security that could never be matched. He would have given anything for our family, his friends, and his customers. His dedication to us all was unwavering. His drive and determination to succeed was unstoppable. We miss his bear hugs. We miss his laugh. We miss his love. Please help us in giving him the transition that he so justly deserves. His journey on this earth may be over, but his legacy will last for an eternity. All funds raised will go to his memorial fund and the directly associated costs related to his passing. A memorial service will be held in the Spring in Chico, Ca. All are invited to attend, and details will be made available on social media. Thank you all for being a part of his life.
