David Mihell

My name is Lindsey I am David’s daughter, I am raising this fundraiser for our mom Tiffany mihell, in regards to losing her husband, David Mihell unexpectedly. Dave, wasn’t just a loving husband, he was an amazing father of four and the most incredible granddad/papa to four beautiful grandchildren.

On Wednesday August 30th Dave was rushed in the middle of the night by ambulance to the hospital due to being dizzy and becoming suddenly unconscious. We later found out he had a stroke and he was taken right away to the ICU. That night we got a call stating he had too much swelling and he had to go in for emergency surgery or he wouldn’t make it through the night. Once surgery was done we were in great spirits hoping for the best outcome. The next day, the nurses took him off sedation and we were waiting for him to become conscious. We waited four days with Prayers, family and heavy hearts that we would receive a miracle of Dave waking up, or even just opening his eyes. On Saturday david was taken for an MRI to see why he wasn’t becoming coherent. The MRI showed the severity of the stroke, with the amount of swelling he had we were told that he wouldn’t become “Dave” again. On September 3rd, 2023 we unexpectedly lost our “Dave“ at 3:28pm.

Before Dave left this side of heaven he was surrounded by his loving wife Tiffany, children, grandchildren, immediate family and closest friends.

Dave, lived a short but extraordinary life from motorcycles rides, scuba diving, golfing, and his passion for fishing. He lived his life as everyday was his last. He will forever be missed, and loved.

Prayers for our family would be more than appreciated. Our family is understandably shocked by this loss and unfortunately not prepared for all that is happening at this time. Losing a loved one is always difficult, but coping with a sudden loss adds a different level to the grieving process. It doesn’t follow a pattern and there’s often a lack of closure. There are also added financial stress, such as the cost of planning a funeral or the loss of a spouse’s income to pay for household expenses.

 

We'd like to show our support to Tiffany during this difficult time by helping her cover unexpected costs due to this sudden tragedy. Anything you can do to help Tiffany during this time of heartbreak is greatly appreciated.
