David needs a wheelchair

Donation protected

Friends, Family and strangers (friends we have not yet met).
My name is Sarah and myself and my daughter Bonnie (11months) are raising money for our fantastic husband and father David Lawler.
David was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis in 2007, the disease has slowly progressed and now he is living with Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. David's disease has progressed so that he now has very little use of his legs, he relies on 2 canes in order to make very short distances, for the rest of the time we have a mobility scooter. We have an 11 month old daughter at home and decreasing use of David's body. We have been given a challenge that, as a family, we are fighting through. As you can imagine life is not without its daily challenges, frustrations and occasional tears. We are at the stage now where the potential damage done, from David falling while moving from his scooter to a chair (a cracked hip or smashed knee cap), could be damage that David would not be able to fully recover from. We now have to look at buying him a wheelchair for him to spend most of his day in.

My husband needs a wheelchair, one that he can live in day to day, one that can give him the freedom to do as much as possible despite this terrible disease. As his wife, and support person I want to do whatever I can to help him through this.
I watch him work so hard every day, and support him through this. It would mean so much to our family if I could raise enough money to fund a wheelchair for him.

We would be so grateful if you could contribute, whatever money you can spare, to help get David into a Wheelchair.
