Help Dave get ACDF (spinal) surgery

Hi, for those who don't know us, we're Dave and Dae.

When Dave was very young, he suffered an injury to his neck. He has lived with chronic pain his entire life but until now, has never let it slow him down. Unfortunately, time has not been kind. Dave is now unable to do the things he enjoys, like working, walking the dog, riding a bike, and even playing his guitar. He has pursued every avenue for recovery including physio, massage, injections, nerve blocks and ablations and has exhausted his options when it comes to pain meds.

Dave has followed the advice of medical specialists, attended pain clinic programs, seen physiatrists and neuro surgeons, but in the last year, the degeneration in his neck has progressed quickly. He has been off work since the end of 2023, due to severe pain and mobility issues. We have finally been told that due to the unique nature of Dave's situation, he will not get the help he needs within the Canadian medical system.

We have been given no choice but to pursue medical tourism, and have found a doctor in Puyallop, Washington, who can help. Dave needs multi-level ACDF (anterior cervical discectomy and fusion surgery). We hope with the right care, he can get back to work, and back to living his life.
