David Owen Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Dakota Ruland. I am David Owen's daugter, Misty's best friend. Mr. David got sick several years ago. He has continued to work every day in the scorching temperatures despite how sick he has been the past 5 years. Finally, on July 31 he ended up in the ER at FGH. He was there several days before being transferred to Mobile Infirmary. He had surgery today on his liver. He has ecoli and over 20+ lesions on his liver from a bile duct surgery that has messed up his liver. He has a very very long road ahead of him. When and if they can get the liver cleared up he will be facing yet another surgery at South Alabama University Hospital for bile duct surgery, but that won't be happening until they get the infection under control. They placed a drain tube coming out of his liver today. His bile duct was completely blocked off today.

Please be praying for him, Renell, all his grandsons, all his great-grandkids, Bryan, Kerrie, Buster, Misty, Wendy, and the rest of his family. You can't say this about a lot of people, but he loved his family, he loved his Purvis Baseball Family and he loved his entire Purvis sports community because he loved everyone of those kids.

He was as supportive and loyal as they come. You couldn't meet a nicer and more compassionate, huggable, loveable man.

He had to quit his job the day he got admitted to FGH. So they have no income coming in and are going to have some enormous medical bills coming in from all directions.
