David Peck Family ❤️
Donation protected
Amanda Peck is my older sister, but I’ve always acted as the older/overprotective sister (sorry, not sorry)
Today, she lost her 36 yr old husband (David Peck) and the father of her 4 children.
Two weeks ago he found out his back pain was actually a tumor on his spine. The pain was so bad that he was unable to walk.
They did surgery and removed the tumor. The tests came back as cancer. Yesterday he had his first radiation treatment. Today, they had him upright and out in the hallway. Once they brought him back to his room he lost consciousness and they did CPR. They were unable to revive him after 37 minutes of CPR.
If you grew up with me, then you know how protective I’ve always been of my sisters, especially Amanda.
She’s never been able drive or work so I was always making sure she got home safe after school, before I went to work at night, etc
Due to her 4ft 10in height she would get picked on every once in awhile, so thankfully her 5ft 8in tall younger sister would always come to the rescue..
I was always the nice, easy going person in school, but if you messed with one of my sisters, I became your worst nightmare- the outcome was alway friendships and the bullies became better people in the end
When Amanda started dating David I gave him a good 3 hr interrogation..
David and I butted heads quite often, but it was always because we were both looking out for Amanda’s best interests
Amanda has never been able to drive, so having a job has always been difficult for her. Her and David have raised 4 wonderful kiddos
David has always worked full time to support their family, so now that he has suddenly passed, Amanda and the kids will not have any income and Amanda’s family members will have to drive her kids to school, events, etc
It does not sound like David had a life insurance policy due to recently switching jobs, so my sister and her kids are unsure of what their future looks like at the moment. They now have no income coming in, so I want to help out..
You know me, I am obviously going to help out as much as possible, and even take them in if I need to.
I want my nieces and nephews to have the best life possible
I’m starting this GoFundMe for an account for Lindsay, Sheyenne, Hunter, and Zophia Peck.
This money will go towards any emergency needs they have going forward throughout their childhood- food, clothing, utilities, etc
Anything left over will be saved in a trust for their college education
Please continue to pray for my sister’s family ❤️
