David Rabauliman - Stage 3 Oral Cancer

On November 2021, our devoted father, friend, and supportive member of the CNMI community, David Kaipat Rabauliman, was diagnosed with Oral Cancer.

 

After several consultations, it was confirmed by both MDs Moss and Brett that the cancer is currently at Stage 3. These results confirm immediate treatments and surgeries for David.

 

Due to the lack of medical equipment accessible in the islands of the CNMI, a referral to USC Medical Center located in California was highly recommended by professionals. David is to undergo multiple surgeries for the removal of the tumor, with reconstructive surgery to follow. After the surgery, weeks of radiation are needed in order facilitate and prevent the threat of the cancer spreading.

 

Hi everyone, my name is Enrique Rabauliman. David Kaipat Rabauliman was not only a father to my brothers and I, but a father figure to many others as well. Totaling over 30 years in law enforcement, my dad served well for the community. Whether it was a search & rescue mission in the sea or a traffic incident on the land, my dad was always dedicated to help his people. Besides his devotion to the people of the CNMI, my dad proved to be a good-natured companion. Since I was a young boy, my dad would share his talents of singing to family, friends, and to anyone willing. His melodious strums coupled with his strong voice always meant a good time no one would forget. My dad constantly proved to be selfless, giving, and always willing to share his spirited energy with those who crossed his path.

 

 

My dad will be undergo surgery along with radiation treatment during the upcoming holidays. There is a tough road ahead, but he is determined to come back greater.
