David Rusko’s Recovery Fund
Donation protected
As many of you already know, David Rusko fell down stairs at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity house at WVU on November 10th, 2018 and did not receive medical assistance for over two hours. Unfortunately, he has been in critical condition suffering from traumatic brain injury ever since.
It has been a very long and emotional month for David & his family through all of the challenges and successes he has been through. Due to recent discoveries, Ruby Memorial has done everything that they can for David but they truly believe in his recovery. With that being said, God has blessed this family by having David transferred to an out of state hospital that specializes in neurological rehabilitation to give him the highest chance of a full recovery.
With all the joys that do come with this hospital accepting him, unfortunately this family of 9 will be separated for over 3 months with 10+ hours of distance between them. Part of the family will miss milestones in David’s recovery, birthday’s, holiday’s, and much more. The family did not want a GoFundMe page set up on their behalf because all they are genuinely asking for is continued prayers for their son, but with David’s increasing medical bills along with travel & lodging in a new city so far from home for over 3 months (at least), many family members & friends have been asking how they can donate and we felt this was the most organized way to do so.
Every single donation is beyond appreciated & will be directly used just for David’s recovery and the families travel costs throughout this difficult journey.
This money will be collected by Tiffany Landman, David’s sister and used for the family’s travel costs & davids medical bills.
